We offer professional tax advice based on many years of experience and highly trained tax advisers. With our skills, you can rest assured that the legal and financial aspects of your case are taken into account. Our tax experts can take and win cases at the National Tax Tribunal.
SkatteInform employees are a team of chartered accountant and tax consultants who specialize in knowledge of tax law, annual accounts law, corporate law, financial statements and tax jurisprudence. Our skills and capabilities help individuals and companies navigate complex tax law areas.
For over 25 years, SkatteInform has specialised in knowledge of tax law and tax jurisprudence. Our competencies ensure that tax legal and economic aspects are taken into account, and our tax advisers can conduct tax cases up to and including the National Tax Court, and obtain binding answers from the tax authorities. This can be done as we work extensively with tax matters and are in constant contact with the Danish Tax Agency.
Tax advice at SkatteInform is based on specific tax challenges and aims to create value for you and help ensure that tax issues and matters are handled correctly in accordance with applicable legislation.
We assist with tax cases and communication with the tax authorities and conduct cases with and including the National Tax Court.
We find solutions for you within, for example, the following areas:
Personal tax, corporate tax, taxation of major shareholders, relocation, taxation of foreign income, avoidance of double taxation, corporate tax, generational change solutions, restructuring of a company, buying and selling a company and much more.
As a state-authorized auditing partner company, SkatteInform can also issue statements on annual accounts and other statements in connection with company restructuring. We perform assistance statements, reviews and extended reviews for all small and medium-sized companies. We also prepare income and wealth accounts for individuals.
We focus on the company's tax situation so that management can make the right decisions.
It’s not something you just look up and it all makes sense. It’s a complex area where legislation, interpretation and practice often collide – making it incredibly difficult for both businesses and individuals to navigate. I’ve worked in tax for many years, and one of the things that frustrates me the most is the opacity that permeates the field. We tend to wrap rules in buzzwords and platitudes – as if that makes them easier to understand. But the truth is that it often makes it even more confusing.
Just take the language of the tax authorities, which can be a jungle to find the head and tail of what is actually meant. When even we, as experts, sometimes have to read things twice to find the connection, how is the average citizen supposed to understand it? How is a business owner with no financial background supposed to know what it takes to do it right?
We have seen so many people get carried away by it. They come to us when the problems have grown over their heads – and often with a feeling that they have been let down. They thought they could handle it themselves, or that the tax authorities would help them. But that happens far too rarely.
At SkatteInform, we have a rule: A spade is a spade. We speak a language that people can understand. We cut things out if necessary, because we believe that it is our job as advisors to make knowledge accessible. It is not to talk down to anyone – it is to turn something that is otherwise opaque into something that makes sense.
That is also why we fight for simpler rules. When we create systems that place unreasonable demands on taxpayers, we end up creating fear and frustration. And that is neither good for people nor for society.
We believe that taxes should be transparent. Not only in legislation, but in communication and advice. It should be possible to get a clear message – without buzzwords, without confusion, without ambiguity.
If we as an industry can become better at speaking a language that people understand, and meeting them with openness, I believe we can make a real difference. Not just for companies and individuals, but for trust in the entire system.
